Ghislain Pitre – Operations Manager

Ghislain Pitre is Bear Head’s Operations Manager. Ghislain returns to Bear Head after previously serving four years as Project Manager. In this role, Ghislain oversaw the project’s daily onsite operations and led the execution of its permitting efforts.

Prior to Bear Head, Ghislain worked for four years at SNC Lavalin on various projects. He is fully bilingual with over 28 years of experience in environmental, mechanical, and marine engineering, He was previously a member of the Department of National Defense with 16 years’ experience in marine engineering.  Ghislain also has experience working with Lloyd’s Register classification society and with Canadian provincial & federal regulators.

Ghislain has an environmental engineering technologist degree from Nova Scotia Community College and numerous marine- and safety-related certificates from training programs in the Canadian Department of National Defense.
